Self-Control & Relationship Training

Most dogs don’t have a problem with sit, but they do have a problem controlling their own emotions and actions. Instead of correcting your dog for something, they don’t even know you object to, we will teach him what he should do.

Discover how to create an environment where your dog can easily learn.  Your dog will understand what you expect.  Using doggie “Zen” teach your dog to relax.

Come-Give-Take-Leave it

This workshop will help you teach your dog "COME"... when called.  We will also work with you and your dog to teach, GIVE, TAKE & LEAVE IT.  Leave it, taught using a dog friendly method.  Leave it is the beginning of self-control.  Stop con-trolling your dog, teach your dog to control themselves.

Teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash

Dogs persist in behaviors that get them what they want.  If your dog wants to go somewhere and you allow him to pull, he is being rewarded, and the behavior is being reinforced.  Correcting him after he pulled, does not work.  You can go anywhere comfortably with a dog who can walk on a loose leash!  If you presently use a choke or prong collar, come learn how to use positive reward based methods to help your best friend.

Bring a flat collar, front clasp harness (Sense-ation, or Easy Walk) and plenty of GREAT treats.  Test out the treats to make sure your dog “LOVES” them before coming to the workshop.  Small, not crunchy treats.
